Weekend cabin for a family with kids is located in the lovely countryside of Myjava region, Slovakia. Carefully placing the object at an angle between the trees of the existing apple orchard creates a leeward for a firepit with exterior kitchen and at the same time shapes the direction of a window view to the valley. The space is divided into a few zones and offers multiple storage types. Pursuing the environmentally sustainable interventions, the structure above ground is from local wood and the floor from local clay.
